Role of a Dean
The Annual Lawyers' Campaign for CollegeBound relies on its wonderful volunteers to raise funds during this Campaign. These volunteers are called our Deans. We are very grateful for their dedication and selfless participation.
Each Dean is a point-person for CollegeBound's fundraising Campaign at their law firm. Some Deans hang flyers in the lunchroom, send out their own mailings, or communicate the Annual Lawyers' Campaign for CollegeBound via email. They help keep CollegeBound in contact with the senior management at the firm as well, often soliciting sponsorships.
In addition, our volunteers solicit and collect individual contributions from their co-workers, and forward them to CollegeBound. CollegeBound is a wonderful organization, doing very important work with our City's kids. Without our Deans' advocacy and support, we could not fulfill our critical mission of sending Baltimore's under-served public school youth to college… and beyond.
